How does BrandVox recognize emotions?

The Emotions item shows what emotional coloring the text has, as well as which emotion is more pronounced.

BrandVox uses an emotion detection mechanism based on ML-algorithmsML-emotions is a mechanism for detecting emotions using an AI model trained on a corpus of texts.

BrandVox allows you to choose 32 types of emotions.  You can see the full list of emotions on the filter panel in the Feed tab. 
BrandVox groups emotions into four main types: negative, positive, active, and mixed. Red color indicates negative emotions, green - positive, blue - active, violet - mixed.

Filters by emotions

You can filter your posts and the posts of your competitors by emotions on Feed tab. You can also filter hashtags, selected in your project, by emotions. To choose emotions please use the drop-down menu.


Not only can you sort your posts and those of your competitors by emotions, but you can also view them on posts. Next to the names of the emotions you see numbers. This is the strength of the emotion, by which you can tell which of the emotions found in the text is dominant. The maximum strength of the emotion is 1, the minimum is 0.01.


Important: if you open the post but don't see defined emotions at the bottom, it means that BrandVox didn't find emotional words and expressions in the text of the post.

In the analytics of your brand's and competitors' posts, you can see statistics by prevailing emotions.

Text analytics by emotions

In the Editor tab, you can analyze the texts you plan to use in your communications. You'll get an analysis of the emotions the text evokes, as well as keywords that affect emotions. This allows you to make appropriate edits to the text to evoke certain emotions in future readers.  Read more about what is "Editor" and how to use it.
