How to set up a project?

If you’re looking to monitor your own brand and one of your competitors, you can create a project, so you can easily access data and analytics and compare it without additional effort!

You can track information on such social networks as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn, TikTok. It doesn't matter if the post contains pictures, videos, links, or just text - in the message feed, you will see all the materials and information about them. What is BrandVox ?

How many projects I can create?

The number of projects and competitors for each project depends on your tariff plan. By default, you have access to 2 projects, 3 competitors and 3 hashtags in your Demo account. More information about tariff plans please find here.

Adding social media account authorization in BrandVox

Before you set up your project, you need to connect your brand's social media pages. Without it, this information cannot be collected. To get more info about social media account authorization in BrandVox - click here.
Please note:

  1. Authorization requires you to have a Business Account on Instagram and business page on Facebook. To check or change your account type, go to your Instagram Settings.
  2. When you try to connect to Instagram, you will be redirected to Facebook to log in using your Facebook ID and password. This is because an Instagram professional account is connected through Facebook Meta API.
  3. Authorization takes place through your business page on Facebook (the one linked to your Instagram account). Check that you have access to approve apps for the Page.

How to create project

Step 1. To create  project , press the "Add project" button.



Step 2. Select your Brand connected pages and accounts


Step 3. Add your competitors brand pages and accounts



Step 4. Add hashtags you want to monitor. Instagram limits each business profile to 30 unique hashtag searches in any rolling 7-day period. While adding hashtags, don't use the # sign; you should only add the text part of the hashtag. 


Congratulations! Your project has been created 🥳

Please note:
If you want to share your project to your team member - please follow this article - How I can share my project to my team member?
If you have been added to a project in BrandVox, you can view and edit only THIS project, according to your permissions. But if you want to create a new project, you have to connect your own social media pages and create a new project with them.
If you have been added to a completed project and want to check your role in the team, please click on the "Team" tab and find your email in the list.

Synchronization and results obtained 

Completing the project may take a few minutes, depending on how active your social media accounts are. You can view the progress of information accumulation in the Project settings.

When status is "Synced 100%" it means that all the data is collected, and you can see the results.
